The Women’s Snipe World Championship is scheduled to take place in Valencia Mar from October 3 to 8, 2023.
The Snipe, designed in 1931, became the world’s largest class just five years later. The first Women’s World Championship was held in 1994 in Yokohama, Japan.
Valencia Mar is hosting the World Championship for the first time in Spanish waters and aims to attract over 15 countries and 100 participants to the event, including internationally recognised athletes.
Local team Laura Morata and Rosa Fururia, the current European champions of the class, will also be participating in the championship, promising an exciting competition.
