IV Seafood Paella Contest in Valencia Mar
Valencia Mar extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the participants and collaborators who made the fourth edition of the Seafood Paella Contest a grand success. The day was a spectacular display of culinary skills, with more than 40 paellas, beer, live concerts, and fantastic vibes that created an unforgettable atmosphere.
This year, the contest featured a prestigious panel of judges comprising Luis Valls, head chef at El Poblet, with two Michelin stars; Maje Martínez, gourmet at the Valencia Fair; Pedro Mocholí, gastronomic critic at Las Provincias; Paola Dominguín, actress; Miky Dkai, monologuist; Nacho Vidal, actor, and Carla Centelles, from Guía Hedonista (Valencian gastronomy guide).
We extend our warm congratulations to the winners of the contest, with boat owners of the Isola, Almudena, and Cassiopeia emerging as the top three amateur paella makers, while Arrocería A Fuego Lento from Valencia, Arrocería la Mejillonera from Benidorm, and Portolito from Valencia bagged the top three positions in the professionals’ category. The first classified nautical company was Seguritron, for their outstanding performance in the contest.
